1ST!

Tonight was my first Friday book out in armour. Hope this will be the first of MANY. But really felt damn sian when I heard I won't be booking out for the next 2 weeks cause of live firing and field camp.

This week was quite a good one, maybe except for today. My knee recovered a bit alr, not so swollen from the week before.

Went to the Track Mess a couple of days ago. It was quite fun towards the end. Brian, Yao Huang and I were damn high. Shouting and singing a few songs. It was really fun. I think that's the happiest night I had since I came armour.

How I wish, every moment of my life will be the same-always happy and high.

Passed my SOC test today! WOO! Was quite worried that I couldn't make it at the low rope. But swee la, I did it and my timing was 8.25mins. It may not be very good, but it's my best timing so far, considering that I only pass SOC during my BMT days.

Home finally..

I seldom miss home throughout my whole 20 years, be it in camps and even during the days back in China.

A few days back on my dad's birthday, I made it a point to call back home to wish him a simple "Happy Birthday". His joy on the phone could be felt. Somehow, I was thinking my family is probably really missing me all the while when I'm away from home.

Since then, I would think of my family at times (more than usual) though I don't really call back. I wouldn't know what to talk to them either.

Life in armour is quite tough. Hope these remaining 18 weeks will pass fast and at the same time be enjoyable for me. So far everything is going well.

Driving tank is quite fun too. Think will get the driving license next week already.

The saddest news so far is there are only 3 bookouts on Friday in my days in SGC.

Brunei! HERE I COME!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Haha will be back next week. Hope everything goes fine though the stupid weather forecast said there will be thunderstorm for the next few days.

3 days into my new camp, I felt damn sian already. I'm missing SAFTI for her nice bunks, toilets, convenience and no doubts, everyone whom I know there.

Sungei Gedong is a really very ulu camp. After many tries to dial for a cab, we gave up and went to take a bus. Simply fucked up. Everyone was looking forward to leaving the camp asap and yet not a single cab wants to come. Fuck.

My bunk is fucked up seriously. It's worse than those in Tekong. But luckily, I had Yao Huang, Brian and LL in the same bunk as me. So I didn't had any problems settling into my new camp.

21 weeks ahead, hope it will pass fast!

Flying to Brunei on Friday morning. Got to report to the airport tomorrow. What a good way to end 2008.

Second year spending my new year overseas. 2008 was in Shanghai, 2009 will be in Brunei.
Next time round will be in Europe with my girlfriend (if any) already. HAHAHA!

My 20th birthday was pretty fucked up. Got to book in early in the morning. Seriously sucks!

But it was nice to receive all the wishings from my friends. So I want to say a big "THANKS" again.
